This notice explains how Francisco Veliz ("we", "us"), which operates Opero AI, handles personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data of account holders and website visitors. For the customer information that businesses store in Opero AI (for example, the people who book with them), the business decides how it's used, and we process it for them.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login credentials). We use these to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Business information (business name, services, hours, phone, address, FAQs). We use this to run your booking page and the AI assistant. Legal basis: contract.
• Customer and booking data that businesses or their customers enter (names, emails, phone numbers, appointment details, messages). We use it to provide bookings, confirmation emails and the CRM. Legal basis: contract, on the business's behalf.
• Chat and AI content (questions sent to the assistant, prompts and drafts). We use this to generate answers and drafts. Legal basis: contract.
• Support and feedback messages. We use these to help you and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (pages visited, IP address, browser and device type). We use this for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, database, email delivery, analytics and AI processing providers.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We don't sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and separating each business's data so other accounts can't see it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your data, to object to certain uses, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email operoaiautomates@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one month.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to make the Service work. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service may not work without them.
